[sharechat] So why the doom & gloom?

I find it interesting that the media is trumpeting the end of the world again as the KIWI dollar "drops" to its all time low.......One could say that the US $ has risen to its alltime high?!!

I know we would all like to see articles like the Aussie
http://www.ozestock.com.au/News.asp?Action=ShowArticle&ArticleID=52526
that records that market as at record levels.

Rather than looking at costs of imports, petrol etc shouldn't we be looking at the much higher income from exports.  I understand that the drop in overnight exchange rate meant another $100 million in farmers pockets!!!

As investors I guess that Farm related companies and exporters should be "in the money".
Apparently others are struck with gloom as I see Wrightsons price drop today while Affco only just held its ground.

Heh ho another trading opportunity :) :)
