I agree Tony. To me you have just highlighted the problem NZ
traders have of buying/selling without the ready access to market
depth.
A dangerous game if you cannot verify demand (or lack of) for a
stock before you start.
The low liquidity previous posters alluded to in most NZSE stocks
makes other markets (where this info can be accessed easily) a lot
safer option for trading.
For me these days the NZSE contains several special situation
stocks (eg Fletchers stable) that are worth taking an interest in for
the potential future outcome. But the opportunities for trading are
definitely better in other markets where measuring liquidity does
not involve guesswork or phoning brokers.
