Software company CommSoft Group Limited (not
to be confused with Software Communication Group Limited,
which is also floating) is seeking to raise $17 million
through the issue of 15.45 million shares at the offer price of
$1.10 per share. CommSoft is a company that develops, markets and
supports Communications Management Solutions (CMS) and Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. In a nutshell the CommSoft
products provide the management of SMEs (small to medium-sized
enterprises) with the information necessary to understand and
control the costs associated with their telecommunications. The
telephony-enabled CRM software assists companies to increase
profitability by gaining a greater understanding of their customers
and employees.
Originally formed in New Zealand in 1997, the
company has expanded rapidly and now has offices in Australia, New
Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom. CommSoft says it has
sold more than 9,000 copies of its software throughout Europe, Asia
and Africa, with clients ranging from small enterprises to large
multi-nationals such as Motorola and Stanley
Tools.
