The last time the media suggest an immanent sale of
FFS the company responded with lighting speed and squashed the speculation. I
don't see that happening this time.
If FFS dept has to be dealt with prior to scraping
the letter stock structure then a sale or divestment of some forests must happen
first. Media reporting today indicated that the sale of a plantation is being
considered.
Maybe that is the most likely course of
events.
FFS sells some plantations, maybe even
sells it partnership with Citic to reduce dept then recapitalize company thus
allowing FLB to be sold of and broken up as reported in media a few weeks ago,
leaving FFS and FEG as separately listed companies. Just a
thought.
