Warner, Their EPS is -7.05cps, I am unsure where you got the 11cps figure this seems to be out. The company report and the Datex book both state that they expect to be making money by the fourth quarter of this year. They have one of only 10 Singapore licences, and a growing customer base in a niche market that no one else seems to be putting much attention into (small to medium size business) - although I am so I see them as a company in initial growth phase and a good opportunity to get in early on some good anticipated future gains. I think people have grown disinterested due to lack of news, the most recent was 12 May, noting a change in auditors, I am hoping for a update on the Singapore operation which has been up and running for a while now at it HY results very soon - I have mailed them asking for date, will past it on if you want. Guts from previous post: It is an up and telephony coming due to start making money in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the Chair. It has got a good future in Singapore (see company news on stockwatch.co.nz), as it got one of only 10 SBO licenses from the gov of Singapore earlier this yea. It owns the ISP Iprolink in Auckland and has a 75% interest in energy reseller Energy options, which resells electricity and gas. Its target market is small to medium size businesses and it is growing a large customer base as at end of 99 it was 17,500. It bundles these services to its target market. It also bought a whole lot of customers off Telstra, increasing its client base by 10%, back on the 29th of Feb*. Its major shareholders are Charoong Thai Wire & Cable Public Co Ltd and CTW Beta Co Ltd, a related company, they are Singaporean telephony companies. I buy for long term, but also looking at its price it is way oversold, since it did hit 72c in February of this year after announcing the Singapore licence acquisition. Also with the chairman owning a 5% portion of the company I am happy that my interests are also being looked after. www.newcall.co.nz * 29/2/00 ASSET: NGL: NEWCALL ACQUIRES _ROCKET_ CLIENTS FROM TELSTRA Hope this helps Warner, your comments appreciated Phil (disc: own NGL) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Warner Lamb" <cloud9@i4free.co.nz> To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> Sent: Tuesday, August 15, 2000 12:43 AM Subject: Re: Re: [sharechat] NGL > When is this co. going to be profitable?
