[sharechat] Reality check
Get a life chaps :)
If you believe that a few "mums & Dads" rabbits
etc are the cause of your poor share performance then I think you do not
understand the marketplace.
Consider that most small investors use a stockbroker who
a) charge a percentage for trades - not good for small parcel
trading
b) recommend holding shares for the longer term
Note: This is also my experience having talked to many "small
investors"
Consider also that the decline in major (top 40) shares are usually
attributed to larger shareholders quiting their investments. (ie
note the significant drop in overseas investors over the last 12
months).
Rather than having a bad hair day and joining the great unwashed in
bemoaning your fate.
LOOK AT THE OPPORTUNITIES!!!
The NZSE40 has risen 8% since 14th April when it closed under
2000.
NOT ONLY that but there have been some nice fluctuations for those
that wanted to buy in or sell.
Seems to me to be both a great market for traders and
investors...
But then again I did not slash my wrists and blame the referee when
the allblacks lost their last game. So who cared that it was a
great game? (I did!)
Is not part of the problem related to too many "mums and
dads" having small
parcels of shares and taking any upward movement as an
opportunity to quit
their holding.......,snip>
Think you are right Hoop. We see it happen time and time
again. The
market has a little forward momentum and in come the Bunnies
and down she
goes. Any rise is too good to be true. Crass
pessimism.
Cheers

.If the spineless rabbits all grew a spine they could
hold their shares for
an extra week and probably double if not triple their profits
,but
unfortunately that will not going to happen on the NZSE as
the market being
small ...Bunnies Rule
