GEN: RMG: AGREEMENT WITH TRANSALTA FOR DEBT COLLECTION
 
RMG has entered into an agreement to be the major supplier of debt collection
services to New Zealand's largest energy retailer, TransAlta New Zealand.
TransAlta, with over 500,000 energy users and $33.3m in net earnings, has
agreed to use the debt collection services of RMG, the largest collectibles
management operation in Australia and New Zealand.
Although exact details of the agreement are commercially confidential,
TransAlta says RMG will receive a minimum of 70% of its debt collection work.
TransAlta said RMG received the contract after performing significantly
better than its competitors in a trial that TransAlta ran earlier this year.
