[sharechat] Trading+3 day rule

Can someone please explain to me fully the T+3 trading
rule? If I were to buy e.g. on a Monday, can I sell on
a Thursday and my broker won't be chasing me up for
the money? Much appreciative of any advice for this
rookie intending trader.
