[sharechat] Listed options in a takeover

To all those lawyers and law students

What happens in a takeover to listed options if the company is subsequently
wholely owned by a bigger one and delisted.
Is it just bad luck or do you get some money for them.
For example if ITC or OTR were taken over.
It is just hypothetical, I was thinking.
