Dont be too hard on GPG. The returns for shareholders are better than
the shareprice would indicate. The yearly 10% share splits and an increasing
dividend means annual returns are in double figures.
The newsflow is pathetic for a reason, they wouldnt launch many succesful
raids if they announced in advance what they were up to.
Not all their attemped coups will pay off, like all our portfolios there is always
one (or more) investments holding us back). Overall they seem to be doing a good
job.

Pity it isn't reflected in the share price.
The newsflow from GPG is pathetic.
It still seems to be Ron's private fiefdom. The UK price is now equivalent to $1.18. come in the arbitragers.
They failed again to get any movement in the Young Brewery share structure. Why do they bother.
Staveleys is still an absolute disaster being at only 70% of  their cost.
they made one good decision in purchasing part of Dawson International.
And what is happening with brickworks?
I hink these guys spend most of their time asleep
