The market is just too small, thin and at the whim
of overseas ownership.
There are only about half of the number of
companies there once were.
There are few inspiring operators among what
remain.
It will get even worse (if that is possible)
because any NZ investor can get more detailed information on overseas
companies than they can about our own.
By owning shares in an overseas company, you are
more likely to be protected from the
predators that have stalked the market here.
