Fernandez article very interesting and I do not contest the main thrust but I 
can't reconcile some of the figures with my own research. He talks of Forrester 
estimating e-commerce will top US$7billion by 2004.  I think he must mean 
e-shopping, (or b2c, if you prefer), because I think e-commerce is already 
about US$200b.  E-shopping is now about US$10b.  He, correctly in my opinion, 
points to security as a major problem but does not mention the difficulty of 
handling micro-payments cost-effectively.  Anyone else got a view?
