Lehman Brothers has cut its calendar 2000
earnings and pretax profit forecasts for Thistle Hotels (THO)
and maintained its "underperform stance" on the stock with the shares at 128p.
Pretax profit has been cut to £72.4m from £78m for 2000 and to £75.5m from £86m
for 2001. It has also pared its EPS forecasts to 12p for 2000 and 12.6p for
2001. The broker believes the hotel market is "softer" than it had originally
thought.
