Interesting comparison between Nasdaq Up to 5080
back to 3020 and now recovered to 3700+ , the UK Techmark which started only in
Nov 1999 went from 2400 to 5750 and back to 2864 and is now at 3635 which is
even bumpier but lots of fun (if you have a cast
iron gut).
With a fair number of Techmark shares I "suffered"
the downturn and now am reaping some
recovery.
Like last weeks changes varied from one loss
(-2.7%) 11 gains of between 7 and 20% and the four major gains were 24,31,46 and
70% (all techs, no takeovers)
That sort of thing just does not happen in New
Zealand or Australia
