IMAX is not part of FORCE however the theartre is situated in the FORCE entertainment centre building in Queen ST. Yes it will affect patronage if it is closed however FOR have mentioned a possible purchase of it. They could probably get it at a good price and have all the expertise in place to run a cinema. I would of think if they do purchase the IMAX theartre then it would be positive for the share price - not detrimental. One point though is the price charged to go to the IMAX theartre is $14 something for adults and about $9 for children which is really steep hence you go once to check it out but not often. DIS: Brought FOR for IHUG deal but sold after deal collapsed. >From: "nick" <acummin@es.co.nz> >Reply-To: sharechat@sharechat.co.nz >To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> >Subject: Re: [sharechat] Cinema deal collase >Date: Fri, 2 Jun 2000 10:20:16 +1200 > > Force share immediatly dropped 13% to 38 > on volume of around 90000 shares 40000 dollars. > They have come back to 40 thoufgh on 180000 volume. > There should be plenty of resilience in the price, > cant imagine anyone wanting to sell for less than 40c > > nick ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.shtml.
