One of two "punt" stocks i've been considering/trying to time for a short play, but the more I think about it, I just can't do it. Frankly, im closer to buying the other one - and thats ITCOD!! My main problem with BRY is that regardless of what happens with Thistle, BRY have shown a liking for empire building - ie, they ain't gonna return the funds to shareholders. So the question then is if they flick off Thistle, what do they do with the money? E-commerce in Asia? While I can see short term 'dead cat" upside re the share, I struggle to see the upside for the actual business.
