Totally agree. Unfortunately the throw away lines like Mike Nelson's ignore the fact that WE paid THEM to take Telecom away after rebuilding the technology before they took it. Then we are delighted to keep paying them forever to rip us off.

Don't blame the Alliance for anything sinister. Blame past incompetence of National for putting us in the original mess, Labour (as it was in 1984) for being hijacked and National later for failing to believe in anything but their divine right to power at any cost.
