Thanks Chris..some good extra points there.I didn't know Fiji would have
such a large impact.I'm not convinced though with Impulse Airlines.. have
seen too many casualties squished by the big boys eg:Compass Valuejet and
remember KIWI.I don't think consumer spending will have much impact because
of counter impacts of low $ for tourists,Asian interest back up by 100s of %
from China Korea etc.Americas cup spinoffs and Olympic one offs.The fuels a
short term problem and I'm sure a large one but this must be calculated into
seat prices just like the pumps.Overall these things seem minor and its
nothing they haven't seen before. Fuel/Country crisis/competition.
