I agree with your logic with regard to options bought and sold prior to
exercise date.
HYPOTHESIS
AQL bought yesterday at 7 cents and sold at a possible 40 cents
pre-exercize = 40/7=5.7 capital gain.
AQLOA bought yesterday at 1.7 cents and sold pre-exercise =
20(40-20)/1.7=11.76 capital gain.
