[sharechat] Atlantic Pacific Securities

A friend of mine has recently bought shares with this company. He is now a bit concerned that they could be "scam brokers". There was some discussion on Sharechat a few months ago about them, but nothing conclusive. Has anyone dealt with them? If so, did they manage to get money back off them when they desired. Apparently, they want you to "lock in" your money for a year, so that is one of my friend's concerns. They are meant to be based in Melbourne, but he can't find a listing for them in the Melbourne phone book. The shares thay are meant to have bought him are "ESAT", a satellite outfit in the US. Any info' would be appreciated, Thanks.
