Hi
Wouldnt be so bad if
i was making money, the hatches on my portfolio are
well and truly batterned down. My financial
goal is to be able to retire at 50 (twelve
more years) and go to live in crete greece. I lived
there for four years while on my
world travels, i left there ten years ago when i
met a New Zealand woman, She persuaded me NZ
was the promised land. Its amazing what one will
believe when in love!!.(Still with her).
Im from england
originally but have been a permanent resident
here since 1991.
I
currently work in electronics and have been very lucky on the stock market (all
NZ)
and have managed to turn ten thousand into over
hundred, its taken ten years though.
I was
tempted to go back to greece sooner. I had visions of sitting outside a nice
taverna day trading
on my laptop. I have never tried day trading and i
have to say the current volatility
in the market has put me off.
I choose my
stocks for the long run, my favs at the moment is montana which i have
held
for many years (shame about this years harvest
though.
Im expecting a nice
profit on FFS too i hhave been buying them up this year at
around 55c and am expecting to at least double up
there.
