ril, You are wrong, the NZ market is not overvalued it is under valued if anything, take a look at CEN for example . This is a stock which may see some value added in months to come. Sounds to me like you got burnt and now are spreading doom and gloom for everyone. The NZ market is not made of tech stocks! these are the shares that are crashing. I will not be selling any stocks I own and look at the long term aspect, this is a hiccup along the way as long as the share has a yeild who cares at the day to day price. As long as the company is proffiting now and has good managment there is no reason those profits will dissapear if the share price dips. Sure if you are playing with stocks that have a projected earning and no real income or turnover you are going to get burnt alive in the current invironment. Speculation hurts when your in the dark doesn't it? regards.... ----- Original Message ----- From: ril <ril99_99@yahoo.co.uk> To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> Sent: Sunday, April 16, 2000 3:35 PM Subject: Re: [sharechat] Panic, this correction is a worry > With due respect, what I said was I didn't know which way it would go on > Monday but there were serious flaws in the financial system. > > There is every reason to be panicing at the moment and in first world > countries people generally are. > > To reiterate, the NZ market is over-valued and will be hit severely in a > crash.
