Thanks for the laugh and I know how you feel Phil,
the markets can seem to be totally conspiring against you! Some traders
have the luck of the entire Irish population while some of us never see the
slightest glimmer of it. It's enough to make you superstitious, envious,
nervous and F'd Off all at once. I have acquaintances who have made huge
amounts of money over the last year and they can't but get it right. I
think patience is a real virtue in trading and I've come to the
conclusion that you need to hold what you consider to be a good buy for about 6
- 8 months. If the stock hasn't moved by then there is a high chance it
won't move. The only thing about holding a stock for that long is it ain't
exciting!
Keep smiling and I'm sure every dog has it's day
(someday)! - as long as your finances hold.
PS I wouldn't dream of selling your ITC
now. In time this stock will be just like ADV but when I couldn't tell you
(maybe in 6 - 8 months!) If it gets any cheaper I will be repatriating
funds to buy again.
