Looks as if it's going to be all uphill for Spectrum from here on.

DIRECT: SPE: APPPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

Spectrum Resources announced the appointment of Rob Levison as a director. 
Rob will work with the company in an executive capacity managing the 
Company's change in focus towards the business to business e-commerce 
area.The company also advised that the previously announced appointment of 
John O'Hara as CEO will no longer proceed.  John will remain as CEO of WEL 
Technology and will continue to assist Spectrum with its investment strategy 
in the vertical market software industry.  Peter Masfen, Chairman since 1983 
and the only remaining board member from Spectrum Resources mining era, has 
resigned having overseen the reconstruction of the company and the disposal 
of its mining assets.  The shareholder meeting to approve the Company change 
in direction is expected to be held in May, which will allow the rights 
issue to proceed.
