Thanks Ben, I missed that announcement.  Still, do you think the CFO appointment accounts for a 5% hike?  Not that I'm complaining (hold ADV), and I know that ADV are very good and ADV directors are constantly bemoaning their share price, but I would have thought that such a quick break through 5.10 was caused by something a little more.

Oliver,

ADV is one of the best tech companies on the NZSE.  They have proven earnings and profits which for a tech company is unusual.

They also appointed a new CFO yesterday, Stuart McKenzie, who has an admirable track record (announcement with details below).

DIRECT: ADV: ADVANTAGE GROUP APPOINTS NEW CFO

Advantage Group has announced it has strengthened its senior management team
with the appointment of Stuart McKenzie as Chief Financial Officer.  The new
role will see Mr McKenzie assume responsibility for all finance and
administration areas within Advantage.  He will also manage the company_s
Human Resource and Information System functions.
Prior to joining Advantage Group, Mr McKenzie spent 10 years with Television
New Zealand in a number of senior financial management roles, most recently
as Chief Financial Officer.
He has also held senior consulting and business development positions in New
Zealand and the Middle East.  These included a consultancy role with the Bank
of New Zealand, where he provided advice to organisations on corporate
structuring, valuations, business strategy and planning. Mr McKenzie also
spent seven years in the Middle East with construction firm McConnell Dowell
Corporation.  During this time he was responsible for establishing a number
of highly successful _green-fields_ operations throughout the region.
