Given the state of the NZ market over recent weeks any investment made in the hope of immediate gains must be viewed as very optimistic if not foolish. However INL is a high quality stock that will perform in the medium to longer term as will the other quality stocks listed. Patience is required. If you want to gamble for quick returns go to the TAB. I believe the underlying market demand for stocks is supplied by in the main Institutional buying not by small investor "flavour of the day" purchases. The irrational small investor often seems to be the one bidding up the price only to see it fall back later, once they have been satisfied, to the underlying price limit that the larger players have on it. When the Institutions decide that the market is at a level they can no longer ignore, quality stocks (like INL) will be their first target and will rebound quickly. Then you will see the value of your investment accrue.
