Seeing the NZmarket is in a much depressed state as
of late, and the government is toying with a super annuation scheme do you
think they could lift the market by agressivly buying back stock. There
are alot of bargans out there as we all know, but with little or no
overseas capital flowing in will they ever be relised? The Belgain stock
exchange took the same downward spiral as NZ has done and now it is dissolved
and most large companies are owned by foriegn countrys. With an
agressive buy back of utillities shares and other value stocks by the government
I am sure we would all benifit and it would make a much more liquid market which
would inturn increase foriebn investment! Not to mention a pension when we are
old and frail..... Your thoughts on this would be apreciated :)
Cheers For your St Pats day
celebration!
