Just adding my 2 cents worth on the recent BRY discussions. I think the
company is now starting to show the potential turnaround investors have been
asking for. They are restructuring their bricks and mortar investments which
should start reassuring some of the fundamentalists amongst us, while moving
into the technology sector a long side some very high profile names.(Better
late than never, if the movers and shakers get their stratergy right) Just
read the list of names they are associating with from their recent
announcement and I would suggest the list shows signs of experience many
other companies listed on the NZSE or even ASX would like associating with
them.

Like many investors I have lost money on BRY at some time, but that's
history, when looking to invest the name of the game is 'potential' and BRY
is showing that while they maintain some of their core investments they are
endeavouring to create shareholder value by being more progressive. While
I'm not impressed with the companies recent history, I'm definitely not
going to knock company directors who seem to be trying to turn things around
and are starting to front up. As I have mentioned in previous posts I much
prefer investing in companies who diverse into technology investments while
maintaining their core business structure and assets, than those who
suddenly change their stripes completely. As investors or traders we should
not be getting emotional about past performances, money is made in the
future we can't change the past.

Anyway thats my thoughts, I hope everyone has a great week whether buying,
selling or otherwise and suggest you keep an eye on CGB, RVS and LKO over
the next couple of weeks. Some institutional investors have been buying up
RVS and LKO must be close to an announcement regarding the Australian rights
to a 'new energy product'????.

Cheers Bret

(Disclaimer: I presently hold small parcel of LKO shares and will probably
buy CGB again if anyone is considering selling under 75 cents)
