Sorry Nick but Cape Range (CAG) are associated
with a patented wireless protocol called IPMA, not fibre. This is a 3rd gen
wireless broadband delivery which is claimed to be 8 times superior to CDMA
(which AAPT & Telecom are about to implement to much fanfare). CAG also own
most of the Paradox ISP in Oz which is rumoured to be their implemetation
vehicle for IPMA services.
CAG experienced heavy volumes recently leading
up the announcement that executives from Cisco, Motorola, etc had joined the
company Arcadian Wireless in which CAG is the largest shareholder. The price has
consolidated recently in the mid-fifties on reducing volumes, down from 70c at
peak. The stock could be considered as a speculative exposure to advanced
telecommunications tech.
