Hi Philip

I bought Contact Energy shares for income purposes rather than capital
appreciation. Yes the price did drop to $2.88 but that doesn't really worry me
as l am looking at CEN as a long term investment. They produce a commodity which
all consumers need.... electricity. As long as they pay a dividend l will be
reivesting the dividend back into CEN. l will be doing this every year until l
need the dividend to live on. CEN is what l call my "base" / income stock...a
good company with sound management and good earnings.
