[sharechat] Pacific Lithium
There has been a lot of chat on highly speculative stocks lately. I thought l
throw in Pacific Lithium (PLL) for you to consider.
Recently PLL has announced a reverse take over of a US listed company called
Lithium Technology Ltd (LITH). Once the reverse take over is complete LITH will
be renamed Illion. Illion will then seek to raise between 50m to 100m and list
on the NASDAQ in August 2000.
LITH will swap 14 LITH shares for 1 Illion share. PLL will swap 1 PLL share for
1 Illion share.
LITH is currently trading on the US OTC market at around US$2.20 on fairly good
volumes. Once you do the maths each PLL share has a notional value of around
NZ$60. PLL shares has been trading off market on a register type system for
between NZ$3.50 to $6.00. PLL has informed shareholders prior to Christmas that
the shares are currently worth NZ$5.25.
Now are the US investors really that stupid or is PLL shares seriously
undervalued. Why would US investors pay NZ$60 or more for a share in Illion when
NZ can buy a share in Illion for around NZ$6. Do the US investors know something
that the NZ investors don't. What will happen to Illion shares if the planned
NASDAQ listing is successful.
I think investors should consider PLL as one of the NZ better highly speculative
investments.
