Re: [sharechat] New Sharechat Sites - short term investments

Kelvin,
I try to give criteria for short term investments are all shares which are:
1)highly volatile, 2)price movements can savagely steep up or plunge down in
days (or hours)
Such as our forum's favourite AQL made 2 tops in (Aug - 25c and recently 26
Jan 21c), those who intend to buy AQL for long term could not resist to dump
it at this stage and lock their profit first (Derek - [sharechat] AQL &
Dumping was happy to dump it at 19.9c a few days ago, and he can of course
at other opportunity jump in again, thus maximising his profit).
ADV & ITC made double to triple return to your initial investments within 12
months.
The nature of these stocks AT THIS STAGE are more suitable for short term
investments.
Those serious investors who bought ITC for longer term at low price 30-40c
months ago, surely jumped out early Jan (90c) to lock profit, and jumped in
again at 65-70 c last week.
Another example, CGB was volatile on the first 3 days of trading and now
move out of the short term stage to longer term investment.
Another example FOR, well you know the story, read Ben's Sharechat Daily
email news.
This is IMVHO that some stocks at some stage should be regarded at short
term investment due to its volatility.
Cheers,
Rini
