Trouble with pizza hut and kfc is that they are viewed as rather old fashioned. Conbine this with poor presentation and service and i can see their share of fast food diminishing. Pizza hut has too much competition now, with the likes of eagle boys and pizza haven aggressivly taking a big slice of the market. They can only survive by offering all you can eat menus very cheap (very small profit) I recently returned from london. The pizza hut on the strand was great. The salad etc was noticably fresher and better presented than i have seen in new zealand pizza huts, so maybe they are not being well supplied/managed here. KFC seem to be usually busy although i cant understand why. they too face more competition. As post offices and banks etc close down they are being replaced by fast food places, kebabs, thai, chinese, indian etc all providing more competition for KFC. Eating out may be on the increase, but is eating rubber chicken? nick ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors To remove yourself from this list, please us the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.html.
