Heres some details of the ITC Directors fronting at the forum and although
most of it is old news i thought it may be useful for the uninitiated -
As it was cut and pasted from another message board i cannot confirm the
validity of statements here-in (note "interesting announcement") but it
reads like a company release anyway -
Don Caldwell
Based on the East Coast USA, Don is one of the leaders of the venture
capital industry in the USA. He built and led Safeguard
Scientific as CEO to be one of the biggest in the information technology
space. Don has now set up his own company, Cross
Atlantic Partners which specializes in technology transfer across the
Atlantic into the USA. He is partnering with IT Capital to do
the same across the Pacific, and will talk about Global Technology Transfer.
David Hancock
Based in Silicon Valley, David as former Head of Apple Asia Pacific and CEO
of Hitachi PC Division in the USA, is using his
technology experience to help incubate some of Silicon Valley’s most
interesting companies. Currently he is President and CEO
of Presenter.com. David provides IT Capital with a link to that vital sector
and will be taking us through a case study on incubation -
Silicon Valley style.
Lim Soon Hock
Lim Soon Hock is seen as a leader in Southeast Asia for technopreneurship in
the e-commerce space. Previously he headed up
Compaq for Asia Pacific but now has built his own group of companies and is
leading the Singapore drive to be the e-commerce
hub of Asia. He provides IT Capital with our window into Asia and will be
talking about the Singapore program.
Jay Snider
Co-founder and President of Snider Capital, Jay pioneered the concept of
sports entertainment in Philadelphia, which boasts the
most successful sports talk station and state-of-the art sports arena. Jay
is excited about the opportunities in New Zealand and will
be making an interesting announcement during his visit.
