Here's a really bizarre hypothesis for ya! How about AQL becoming the listing vehicle for Virgin Atlantic Airlines in NZ and possibly Aus. This would get around the rules that would stop Virgin coming to NZ regarding domiciliation etc. AQL has the clear bucks for airline infrastructure, is tourist recreationally orientated already (or was) and is the sort of deal I could imagine Eric Watson getting into. Now there's a thought!
