Derek, no one said that the wireless technology was a sure thing for SVY.
However, it has been confirmed in a recent article in the Dominion that
there is an "on-going discussion" between Savoy and the Ericsson Group. It
was said in the article that "SVY Technologies has been pursuing
opportunities in NZ in association with Ericsson Group, particularly in the
urban and mobile communications sectors". That's good enough for me! As for
the price of SVY, though it came down (so did many other stocks), the volume
traded was tiny compared with what was for the last several weeks. I don't
think that the people who rushed in to buy SVY shares are all fool. Whether
there is a deal with Savoy in wireless technology, only time will tell. The
share price of any stock can come down just as it can go up. It's merely a
simple relationship between supply and demand. Happy investing/punting!

p.s. Although our sharemarket is mostly influenced by Dow Jones, the IT
stocks listed on the NZ Stock Exchange DO follow NASDAQ.
