Re: Re: [sharechat] AQL
Yes, the high volume of trading of AQL shares is certainly intriguing.
Both yesterday and today, some 4.1 million shares changed hands with the
end-of-the-day price being 0.21 on Monday and 0.21 today. The thought of
share dumping has also crossed my mind but then surely this must be a
laborious way of doing it (bearing in mind there is a total of 218
million AQL shares on issue).
For the analytically-minded, it is interesting to note that between 12
noon and 2.30pm today (when AQL started its dip from 0.20 to 0.195),
some 860,000 shares traded at an average of 0.196 and a total value of
$168,503. AQL then started its climb back to 0.20 with about 351,000
shares traded from then on until close of business.
High volumes but low values overall - so I am not concerned at this
stage as the law of supply and demand will soon catch up with the AQL
stock. However if supply is still over-exceeding demand by this time
next week, then maybe those Savoy stocks will be looking more appetising
Osbert!
