What about the Tour de France bicycle race? (just how
large are those transmitters?)
A cross country auto race?
A mountain climbing expedition?

True, the parallels are not exact...but some of the
technology could be applied.  One of the major
investors in ITC owns a professional hockey team.  The
action's pretty fast there but what if you could track
and analyse the movements of every player on that
animated screen?  See the game from numerous angles?
