Hiya Tony,My name is Craig (craigus) and I'm in a similar position of small
trader but full time currently.I chat a lot on Directbroking's stock chat (
www.directbroking.co.nz ) altho' rediscovered stockchat recently due to
major probs with messaging on the other one.I often look at the dollar
value of the trades i.e $15k, 8k, 12k (aql recently$169k !!) that's good
support but it worries me when I see $200, 500, 1500, 150 etc (i.e LKO )
and strong price rise as I feel there's no substance to this and as sure as
you want to get out, the vol isn't there to profit take.Unlike humungous
vols and significant parcels where liquidity is great.I also used to place
a lot on supply/demand (as in bids/offers) as this gave me directional
hint of price change but now I realise support can come out of the woodwork
and I'm not so sure now if that's a good idea to predict a price trigger
that way.But anyway it's an exciting game and I feel we can't learn enough.
All the best and many happy brokerage fees!!!
