Ben, If you read my previous posting you will note that I refer to your posting about The Press article and then go on to suggest that in the interest of a fully informed chat group your holding in this company IMHO should have been disclosed. It does not matter if your other postings state you have a holding in the stock, the one I referred to does not. I, like other readers may not have the knowledge that you have stated this b4 and it is a bit silly to have been expected to have read your other comments after all what if I was new to the news group and this was the first posying of yours that I had read. The Raging Bull system is also voluntary when it comes to disclosure, and I believe gives readers and commentators a better chance to allow a fully informed market...after all that is what I thought chat groups and user groups were about. For the record, I was not questioning your credibility, just suggesting that if one is to highlight positive, or negative news about a company that disclosing ones relative interest might be more professional. Bud Disclosure: Do not own ITC and think they are overpriced. >From: "Ben Dutton" <bendutton@sharechat.co.nz> >Reply-To: sharechat@sharechat.co.nz >To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> >Subject: Re: [sharechat] Re: ITC - Ben Dutton Comment >Date: Sun, 16 Jan 2000 12:24:15 +1300 > >Hi Bud, > >I suggest you look at, and read, the following posts written by me: > >http://www.sharechat.co.nz/archives/current/msg00110.html > >http://www.sharechat.co.nz/archives/1999/12/msg00186.html > >Also read the "Share of the Week" article on ITC: > > >You will notice that on all of these posts (and the article) I have >disclosed that I am a shareholder in ITC -- you are wrong in asking "would >it not be more professional to disclose that you are long this stock".
