The strong debut of CGB on NZSE today probably showed the thirst
of NZers for IT stocks. Lucky for those who have managed an
allocation before the listing. But for those who found
themselves could have resisted the temptation and got into
action just about a few hours later... The same stock was only
traded between AU$0.36 and $0.44 on ASX, and closed at a price
below that for IT Capitals. Well, time will tell who is wiser -
the buyer or the seller. As for me, I am one of many who were
unlucky to obtain an allocation, but am willing to take in a
small parcel @NZ$0.45. Maybe Santa will climb down the chimney
and fill up my socks. If not, there are still the likes of ITC,
NGL and SMR. Alternatively, RVS is still one of my favorites.

I would like to express my gratitude to Ben Dutton and Will
Bryant for organising a successful forum, and wish all
participants a Merry Christmas and a Happy Millennium.
