Thankyou gentlemen I feel better now. ITC to me seem very under valued and a sudden drop like that tested my resolve somewhat. I agree regarding ADV and the possibility it may well continue to rise. I was in early ($1.60ish) and decided to take the profit a couple of weeks ago. Someone earlier in the day commented that it was one of the few IT companies making a profit and I believe that will be a major factor in the price continuing to be pushed up. However, the gains diminish as the entry price builds and the real gains must surely be in the likes of ITC, NGL etc. SMR scares me a bit, although it could be the real punt. CGB could make tomorrow an interesting day. Looked at the fundamentals of ITC this afternoon after seeing the price drop. The only thing I discovered was that I should have some more and to top it off I can buy them about 20% cheaper than could of a couple of days ago. NGL too me is in the same boat. Both these stocks will be part of next years darlings. I cant advice about SMR - did not buy any - advised a friend to however and he doubled his money. Can't win them all. Advantage will possibly keep on climbing with small falls in between. Even at $3 - $3.50 it could be a cheap entry?? Finally a pay day for fletchers. Hopefully watch FEG shoot away with FLB not to far behind. >From: Derek <dariusz@ihug.co.nz> >Reply-To: sharechat@sharechat.co.nz >To: sharechat@sharechat.co.nz >Subject: [sharechat] RE: ITC >Date: Thu, 16 Dec 1999 16:18:21 +1300 > >Yes, Fear and X-mas - gift time. >ITC >Profit taking by same shareholders, some need money for shopping, some >wish to go for holidays without fear, have good time and come back in >January, load money again in shares. >Now is a time for those who has no fear and earlier tough they miss the >train. >This is my opinion, do not take it seriously, but I may be right. > >SMR >after my calculation should drop for a moment to $0.37 -0.38.
