Thanks for the compliment : )

Yes you can purchase FOI in NZ and 'shunt' them to the UK registry.  You
simply complete a shunt form and sent it to the registry.  There should be
no charge for this.

I can see the obvious benefits in this if the stock is trading higher in the
UK but have you considered:
a/. in the time it takes to shunt the stock there may be no margin in it
when you can finally sell it.
b/. brokerage is higher in the UK than it is in NZ and may wipe out the
profit you stand to make.
c/. movements in currency could cut into your profits or make them even
bigger!
