Latest rumours are that Air NZ and News have reached an agreement for
Air NZ to by the remaining 50% in Ansett - the last hurdle being the
price. The possibility of a full merger is also on the table.

 Air NZ meanwhile has been cancelling flights due to aircrew shortages. 
Their contract negotiations begin soon with aircrew whilst the problems
with the cabin crew continue ....
