Clearly you are correct that the current bargains are a reflection of the
perceived market risk by the market movers (overseas funds).  This is
highlighted by the performance of TEL which to many overseas funds is the NZ
market. I feel though that at the current prices there are many bargains to
be had as my perceived view of the current risk to the market is minimal.
Despite all the political uncertainty, the medium term economic prospects
for NZ economy are good (with little down side) and it is only aggregate
economic performance which determines the systematic risk of any countries
market.
