ShareChat is pleased to announce that Dr Roderick Carr, Deputy Governor of
the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, will be hosting a live Question and Answer
Session on "Y2K and the New Zealand Banking System." The discussion will
take place next Tuesday, October 5th at 4:00pm on ShareChat Live

This is your chance to ask Dr Carr questions about Y2K and the preparedness
of the Reserve Bank and the New Zealand banking industry.  Issues up for
discussion include payment systems, liquidity in the capital markets and
meeting the public demand for cash.

There have been questions about the stability of the banking system and its
ability to withstand systemic malfunctions on January 1.  Dr Carr will be
able to shed light on initiatives taken to avoid potential breakdowns in the
financial system.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Reserve Bank and
its initiatives to handle potential Y2K problems.  Mark the date and time in
