Hi,
For online-trading I would recommend www.etrade.com.au - I believe they are
the only online broker that hooks directly into the ASX SEATS trading
system. So any orders you enter are queued directly to the market as
opposed to a human being middleman doing it for you. They have company
info, charts, news, quotes etc etc.
For research information, the question is, are you prepared to pay? (and how
much?). www.investorweb.com.au provide research and analysis on all
Australian listed companies but you will need to sign up and pay a
membership fee for the privilege. www.stockhouse.com.au is another good
site. It is free to join and you can enter the shares in your portfolio and
the site will send you any news releases about these shares to you via
email.
Also have a look at www.shares.aust.com it's the website for Shares magazine
and has all the articles from the magazine online for free!
Hope this helps.
Chris.

Subject: [sharechat] Australian Investments Information required
Hi,
I am find it difficult to find good quality information for Australian
Investments. I am basically after similar information contained in the
Investment Year Book put out by the Datex Publications
(http://www.datex.co.nz). Also, if you have a good online share broker, I
would be really interest in knowing.
Thanks in advance
Chris
